Ingredients:
For the crust:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
For the filling:
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press firmly into a 9-inch pie pan. Bake 8-10 minutes. Let cool.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and butter together, stirring until smooth. In a separate bowl, whisk sugar, cocoa powder, eggs, vanilla, and salt until well combined. Gradually mix in melted chocolate mixture.
- Pour filling into the cooled crust. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the edges are set but the center still slightly jiggles.
- Let the pie cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for 2–3 hours before serving.
Tips:
- Serve with whipped cream or fresh berries
- Use high-quality chocolate for best flavor
- Store leftover pie covered in the fridge for up to 3 days
