Ingredients:
Pretzel Crust:
- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
Cream Cheese Filling:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 8 oz whipped topping, thawed
Strawberry Gelatin Layer:
- 6 oz strawberry Jell-O
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar. Press firmly into a 9x13-inch baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes. Let cool completely.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over cooled crust, sealing edges to prevent Jell-O from leaking. Chill while preparing the next layer.
- Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water. Let cool slightly (about 10–15 minutes), then stir in sliced strawberries.
- Carefully pour Jell-O mixture over cream layer. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until fully set.
Tips:
- Use full-fat cream cheese for best texture
- Chill each layer thoroughly for clean cuts
- Make a day ahead for easy serving at events
