Ingredients:
For the batter:

For the fruit:
  • 2 to 3 cups fresh or frozen fruit (e.g., peaches, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries)

Instructions:

  2. Pour the batter evenly over the melted butter in the baking dish. Do not stir — the batter and butter will naturally separate, but it will bake up beautifully.
  3. Scatter the fruit evenly over the batter. If desired, sprinkle the fruit with 2 tablespoons sugar and a little lemon juice for extra flavor.
  4. Bake for 40–45 minutes, until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the batter comes out clean.
